David Thorpe is known for The Key to Happiness (2010) and Anwylyd and the Donkey (2011).- David is an award-winning writer of scripts, novels and non-fiction. His feature film Fifty Pink Elephants is in development with Boulder Productions (Toronto). He co-wrote The Fastest Forward for Comic Relief, a feature film starring Jerry Hall, co-founded the London Screenwriters' Workshop, and is co-author of Captain Britain and Doctor Who for Marvel Comics and the Doc Chaos comics and TV scripts. He's commissioned/ edited many other comics, including Playing The Game by Nobel Laureate Doris Lessing for HarperCollins. His SF novel Hybrids (HarperCollins) was called "stunningly clever" by The Times, and Stormteller (Cambria Books) led to his presence on the first two Hay Literature Festival climate fiction panels. He's also written the stage play Plot! about Shakespeare and the Gunpowder Plot, and is author of many articles and 12 books on renewable energy and sustainable development.
